Management Philosophy

Waccamaw Management, LLC, AAMC, is committed to being the best Community Association Management Firm in South Carolina.  Our primary responsibility to our clients, as should be every association management firm's commitment, is to assist the Board of Directors in fulfilling their requirements as mandated by the Community Association governing documents.  We accomplish the task through a blend of senior managers assisting and mentoring younger staff to create a standard of excellence and correctness for our clients.  We support our managers' pursuit of excellence in their portfolio and their professional accreditation ventures.  The guidance approach to management, in conjunction with good regular and consistent preventative maintenance, as well as the recommendation to our Boards to aggressively fund reserves for future major repairs, are the focus of our management philosophy and approach to servicing our clients.

Commitment

In the association management business, your reputation is your most valuable asset.  We have earned a reputation of professionalism with honesty, integrity and being a leader in the industry.  Association management now requires same day response to financial, administrative, and/or maintenance inquiries.  The job must be done promptly and correctly the first time.  Our Association Managers are expected to earn their CMCA designations at a minimum, and most are on track to earn their PCAM designation.  Waccamaw Management, LLC, AAMC provides the necessary time off and fully underwrites all approved continuing education for staff members.  We maintain memberships and actively participate in CAI (Community Association Institute).  Staff meetings are held each week with professionals or service providers invited to keep us updated on industry changes and trends.  We have been in the association management business for over a quarter century and have a very competent staff at all levels, including supervisory, administrative, accounting, and maintenance to accomplish the job.  Please be assured that Waccamaw Management, LLC, AAMC is fully committed and dedicated to providing professional association management services.

Professional Memberships

We are involved in the national professional organization CAI (Community Associations Institute).  Professional certifications and accreditations achieved by the company and key staff members include two PCAMs (Professional Community Association Manager), the highest level of achievement awarded by CAI; one AMS (Association Management Specialist), and two CMCAs (Certified Manager of Community Associations) awarded by CAI.
