Under new ownership, Waccamaw Management, LLC, AAMC has expanded its market, and we are now responsible for the professional management of more than sixty properties stretching from Georgetown to Conway and ranging in size from forty (40) to more than five hundred (500) individual units with master associations exceeding 2,500 units. Waccamaw Management, LLC, recently joined the elite group of community management companies who have earned the Accredited Association Management Company (AAMC) designation from Community Association Institute (CAI). We provide high quality property management to a variety of communities, including fee simple single-family gated and un-gated communities to oceanfront Condominiums and everything in between. Press Courtney, President of Waccamaw Management, LLC, AAMC, who was presented the designation at CAI's national conference in New Orleans on April 23, 2009, stated that he is exceptionally proud of his staff for working so hard to meet the educational and professional standards required for the designation. Waccamaw Management employs 35 people and manages 86 community associations - representing nearly 14,000 members from offices in Pawleys Island, Grand Dunes and Carolina Forest.
CAI is a national organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive, competent community associations. Some 57 million Americans live in the nation's estimated 286,000 association-governed communities.
