Waccamaw Management, LLC, AAMC is committed to being The Best Community Association Management Firm in South Carolina. Our primary responsibility to our Client Communities is to ensure the economic stability of their community and to enhance the quality of life of their residents. We accomplish this by providing leadership and guidance, assisting the Association's Board of Directors in fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities in accordance with the Association's Governing Documents and applicable Local, State, and Federal Laws and Regulations.

The underlying success of our company resides with the individual success of our Waccamaw Team members. Waccamaw Management, LLC, is able to attract and retain extraordinarily dedicated and capable individuals. Waccamaw Management, LLC, proudly employs 5 PCAM's (Professional Community Association Managers), 15 CMCA's (Certified Manager of Community Associations) and 7 AMS's (Association Management Specialist). Seven additional managers are currently seeking their PCAM certification and this continuing education is fully supported by our company. We provide our team members with competitive pay and benefits and mentor them with executive and management team support. Waccamaw is a learning organization, constantly pushing to improve. One of the ways we do this is to underwrite the expense of our staff's continued education and the cost of membership in professional organizations, coursework and conferences. Staff meetings are held monthly with professionals and service providers, keeping us on the forefront of changing trends and new technology. We even offer a "board member boot camp" with local attorneys to assist the board with a basic understanding of their legal responsibilities and liabilities.




Professional Memberships

In 2009, Waccamaw Management joined the elite group of fewer than 150 (just 5%) of community management companies in the USA who have earned the Accredited Association Management Company (AAMC) designation from the Community Associations Institute (CAI). With more than 32,000 members around the world, CAI is the premier national and international professional organization dedicated to ensuring professionalism and vibrancy in planned communities. CAI's mission is: "To inspire professionalism, effective leadership and responsible citizenship, ideals reflected in communities that are preferred places to call home." Waccamaw Management's Team serves the CAI organization in leadership roles in South Carolina and nationally. CAI and its sister accrediting organization, the National Board of Certification for Association Managers (NBC-CAM), provide individual professional certifications and designations as well. Waccamaw Management's individual managers and executives have achieved an extraordinary array of these professional credentials, up to and including the PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager) for 5 of our senior managers, the highest credential provided by these organizations. Other credentials obtained by our management staff include the AMS (Association Management Specialist) and CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations). Waccamaw Management's Executive Team also participates in the Urban Land Institute's (ULI) conferences. ULI's mission is: "To provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities, worldwide". ULI also has more than 30,000 members and is the primary organization for collaboration of best practices in determining real estate development trends and practices. By keeping our fingers on the pulse of the real estate development industry, we can better advise our clients on how they may adapt to remain relevant in an ever changing world.
